the pair of rectangular, polarized REVOs i'd worn for 10 years from New Orleans to Sao Palo finally up and expired one day while i was running, the wire connecting the stem worn away and severed. Rectangular, polarized sunglasses are vital to complement my high cheekbones, angular jaw, and air of mystery, so after many years out of the game i suddenly found myself back in the sunglasses market. Oh, how the field had changed. Revos were a thing of the past and Maui Jim was the new polarized player in town, and polarization technology had advanced by a factor of 10. Most importantly, they had a rectangular model (beachcomber). These are my rose colored glasses. So, having attended a wedding with my sunglasses on and, alarmingly, finding myself without them in the morning, i immediately ordered another pair (how am i supposed to live without you?). The day the new pair arrived from backcountry, i happened to find the original pair in a random dresser drawer. People are different at night. However, rather than return the replacement pair, i now keep 2 pairs; one primary, one backup. But these babies are the shiznit.
