For this recipe, Mary Jane combined bulghar and lentils to create a dish spiced identical to one her mother used to make for her using one-minute rice. Not quite instant, this rendition is easy to prepare and really good to eat. If you have any left over, the Lentil Pilav eaten cold the next day along with some crackers makes a satisfying, unique lunch.
Bottom Line: Delectable backcountry cuisine.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

not good
all of Maryjanes Farm chiles, lentils. ect... tastes just about the same. Boring after a while, be careful what you buy. Also takes forever to cook in more...
A little longer to cook but well worth the wait
Mary Jane does it again, makes a new favorite meal for me to consume while hiking or camping! This one takes a bit longer to get ready, extra boil time more...
