The organic cotton Marmot Women's Wildflower Short comes away unscathed where other lighter, less-durable shorts fail along the trail. Slip into the Wildflower short and head out for anything from a weekend backpacking trip to a chill Sunday afternoon around the house. Marmot made these organic cotton hiking shorts out of durable twill, added natural coconut buttons, contrast color bar-tacking, and two rear flap pockets.

shorts look great, but are very stiff when wearing. did not soften after 2 washings. like the north face precita short much better--very soft and comfy.

I wore these shorts on my normal hour walk with a friend. Though they are a heavy enough weight I am not embarassed to wear them. They are very comfortable and breathable in very hot (90 degrees) weather. I can highly recommend these shorts.
