Style for soggy weather.
The Marmot Women's Whitehall Jacket protects you from passing showers and all-out downpours, and its chic mid-thigh length provides a stylish silhouette for dressed-up occasions. This jacket uses a waterproof and breathable MemBrain (2-layer) and fully taped seams to block rain and outside moisture from ruining your work outfit or sassy evening dress. A removable hood adds further protection from intense storms, and the internal zip pocket stashes daily items and accessories.

Keeps you dry BUT:
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
This jacket is lightweight and pretty. It is designed for warm weather, so if you plan to wear it when its raining and less than 50 degrees, order a size up so you can layer. The jacket I ordered was irregular - meaning that the stitching was way off on the right cuff as well as the bottom seem from the front snap all around to the rear vent. I did not return the jacket as I wore it on a rainy long weekend and had cut the tags off when I realized the issues. I love marmot and this lovely glacier grey color, but for the price ($99 on sale) I was not expecting a factory second.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
I was looking for a more casual light weight coat to wear....this coat is perfect....repelled the rain, hood fit over my head w a pony tail holder on!! Nice, light weight. Ordered a medium and it fit well....(I'm 5'8" 127#)
I am 5'2 and 98 pounds, so I think I would be xs. However, I would like to be able to layer clothing underneath this coat (e.g. a fleece sweater). Should I go up to size small or stay xs? Thanks!
Hey Kimberly, I'd say you'll still be good to wear an XS with a fleece sweater under. If you plan on more bulky layers, like a down jacket, you may want to go up to a small.
I was wondering how waterproof this jacket is.... Will it stand up to heavy downpour! Thanks
What is the center back length of a medium?
