How does this backpack close on the top?...
How does this backpack close on the top? Would it be appropriate for keeping my laptop protected as I ride my bike?
The Urban Hauler is a modern take on an ancient Japanese fishing bag design. It's a simple bag with shoulder straps that connect to the front of the bag. The bag closes when you put on the shoulder straps, which then pull the top closed. It will fit most laptops, but does not have any padded sleeve, so won't offer much protection. It works great for any everyday bag to haul around whatever you need.

this looks like one of those eco friendly shopping bags backpack style, what is this?
Thats the look and style they are going after but all these companies these days are trying to be more green which is good because if nobody protects the environment then where are you gonna use all this stuff
This was a gift...
from my sweet husband. I use it mostly for overnight trips or as a carry on while flying. It's so comfortable with lots of room.
Great bag, I use it when I go to the Farmers Market, when I go shopping, and when I travel to carry my camera and anything else I need to take, it is a great size. Well made.

Will this hold a large binder? Is it more compact than a regular packpack? I'm looking for something without all the bulk. Thanks for the assistance.
It will hold a large binder. It is about the same size as a regular bag since it is a medium size. It just does not have all the bells and whistles.
