During hot summer nights in the woods, you need a sleeping bag that wicks more than you need one that insulates. The Marmot Trestles Trails Sleeping Bag has a synthetic lining that pulls the sweat away from your skin and disperses it to the bag's exterior to evaporate—and the Trestles Trails does this for you all night long. Plus, you can use this Marmot Sleeping Bag to give new life to an old, worn-out bag or to add a few degrees of warmth to your cold-weather bag. A full-length zipper extends around the foot box, so you can use the Trestles Trails flat like a blanket, too.

Bottom Line: Don't sweat the humid nights—sleep comfortably in your Marmot Trestles Trails Bag.

Marmot Trestles Trails Sleeping Bag: Synthetic

By:

While somewhat effective for sleeping in during warmer temperatures outdoors, I wouldn't consider the Marmot Trestles Trails a sleeping bag, but rather, a sleeping bag liner. The weight of the liner made it easy to carry in my bike trailer for long distances, however, the liner was a little light on material that could make it a more comfortable shell.

No, but check out the Marmot yurt bags (driclime, synthetic and down) You can zip one on top and one on the bottom and have a super comfy double bag.

nice summer bag

Excellent Summer bag. I took the bag on an over nighter to the Jacks River Falls area in TN. The area was damp and the temperature dipped into the mid/lower sixties. The shell of the bag is awesome when it comes to damp conditions and the bag was plenty warm in the sixties. I think that you would be pushing it to be comfortable in the bag down into the fifties though. Marmot makes excellent products and this one is no exception. The construction is solid and given the fact that there is no fill to the bag it should last a very long time!!!

From the looks of it probly not much more than 10 degrees, 15 max but that looks like it would be pushing it. Like it says, it is more for wicking and keeping moisture at bay than really keeping you warm. But like anything here, try it out and if you don't like it return it. Hope this helps.
