I bought this a few months ago and look forward to when I get to use it. The color is lovely and distinguishing. I am 5'5" and it is a good fit for me, I like the special little features like the little zip on the other side, the 'stash pocket' on the inside, and the head cover that can be adjusted depending on how cold you are. I would recommend!
Will the women's version of this bag zip together easily
Will the women's version of this bag zip together easily with the regular version, or should we both get the regular version if planning to mate the bags?

They will mate together fine as long as you have one left zip and one right zip bag.

What is Spirafil 120 comparable to? I like the weight and feel of down or Primaloft Sport, and would like to avoid a synthetic bag with one of those dense, heavy-feeling fills.

Marmot claims "Spirafil 120 is the warmest shingle construction available, fitting extra insulation into these bags by creating an overlapping wave of shingles throughout the bag." It's not exactly like any other synthetic currently on the market. I too like the natural feel & weight of down & nothing else compresses nearly as well. The only drawback is it's $ but this still, to me, makes down the best choice.

Solid, well thought out bag, design. This bag was for my wife, who is 5'6" and it is perfectly sized for her. This is a great car-camping bag.

Lightweight and compact with a good stuff sack with compression straps. Used in 45 Degree weather and was extremely warm. Hood adjusts to ensure no cold nose. I am 5'7'' and the bag is just right, if you are taller should probably buy the long version.

This bag is very comfortable and has kept me plenty warm down to temperatures close to freezing. I'm actually a 5'7" male, and bought this bag over the men's version to save a bit of weight in a synthetic bag for backcountry paddling trips. At my height, there is no extra room, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone taller. All in all, a great bag.

Used it in ~35degree weather and was really warm (I'm usually pretty cold when I sleep at night, so that's saying something). Nice features, too -- I really like the stash pocket and that there's a full zipper on one side and a half-length zipper on the other for warmer nights.
