Very cold bag

I love the features of this bag, but it is just so cold for my son, totally unusual for Marmot. Comparing this to my Women's 30, and my husband's Men's 30, this is even thinner. It's normal for Men's to be thinner (the equivalency of a Women's 30 is a Men's 15, because men are modeled as having 15 degrees more temperature tolerance, though I've never understood why). However, having a Youth 30 even thinner than a Men's 30 is crazy! This bag is just too cold - treat it like a 45 not a 30.

Great buy

My 7 year old loves it! Worked great for a recent backpacking trip. It’s light, warm and it packs down small with the included compression sack.

Great bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this bag to introduce my 6 year old to backpacking. Due to COVID we haven't had a chance to test it out on the trails yet, but we have taken it camping and he loves it. It keeps him warm, and he adores the "secret" pocket. I wish it compressed a bit more, but is a great intro bag.

Super Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag for my daughter and she loves it. When it showed up she insisted on sleeping in the bag on her bed to try it out. She woke up the next morning ecstatic because she got warm in the middle of the night and found the "foot zipper" so he toes could breathe haha. She's a big fan of the cinch-able hood as well. Looking at the bag from a more technical aspect, it's warn, very light / packable, seems to have a durable shell with very soft interior. Would recommend to anyone with a little one whose going to be doing colder temperature camping or just wants to sleep in a bag in bed
