Excellent value & allergen-free sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I was looking for in a allergen-free down-free sleeping bag that was comfortable at 10F.

Great sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sleeping bag! Purchased 2 x bags for family camping trips. I already was a big believer in using Marmot before - and these bags have been great!

Do not buy!!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this on Dec 4 as a Christmas present for family member. They received on Christmas Day but did not use until the end of February since we are in the northeast. First night using the zipper broke out trail camping. Really this was the first time ever it was used. Backcountry would not warranty, they say all marmot must go directly to marmot for the warranty. So it cost me $29 to ship the sleeping bag to marmot, they would not replace, said it would be 8 weeks wait for the repair. Well today is July 12 and I just now got the bag back. This is ridiculous service and embarrassing as a gift. And it ended up costing me $29 more for the repair. I’m questioning marmots quality now, unfortunately I bought 2 of their sleeping bags. But 5 months to get item back is horrible. I SUGGEST NOT BUYING ANY MARMOT PRODUCT FROM BACKCOUNTRY, MAYBE NOT BUY THAT BRAND FROM ANYWHERE

Not as warm as I thought

I got this because I read all the good reviews on other sites for the price. I compared this to the REI Frostbite 5 degree because I was looking for a really warm bag for car camping. I took this out to the Oregon desert, where the low at night was mid 30s, and it didn't hold up. The toe box is really large and everything waist down, especially my feet, were very cold and did not warm up at any point at night-- even with warm socks and bringing my knees up to my chest.

Quality but tight

As some of you may be, I am a side sleeper. While this sleeping bag does everything thing a sleeping bag should (i.e. keep you warm and comfortable) it was tight if you like to roll onto your side. For context I an 6’0” and about 190 pounds. If youre a back sleeper then this is the bag for you, just tight if you toss and turn like myself.

High Quality and Warm

This is a well-made bag with nice features I haven't seen before. I've been using a 20C The North Face bag for several years, and I needed a warmer bag for cooler season camping. This bag is packed with more features than The North Face, and feels like it is high quality. I just got this bag, so I haven't tried it out yet, but looking forward to camping comfort in those cooler temps. It feels too heavy to be a first choice back packing bag. But it will be the nicest car camping option for sure.

Comfortable!

The bag was very comfortable. Had really good material ,had really good seams. The adjustable taper straps were an excellent edition. The bags had an adequate foot box that retained heat very quickly. The bag stayed very warm even just testing it outside in the front yard. Have yet to take camping but anticipate product will perform adequately. We got the lungs even though we're a bit short we got in for the extra aspect of being able to stick any sort of small garments at the bottom of the foot box in order to retain some of that heat in there so when it comes to waking up in the morning. You have warm clothes.

Warm, but tight

Runs a little tight, but I felt amazing at Big Bend with 30° temperatures.

Wildland Fire Camp Go-To Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Wildland Fire Camp essential. Keeps me warm on cold nights @ spike camp or base camp. I can add a liner if I need more warmth or to keep it less smokey. Easy to pack and durable.
