The Marmot Thor 3-Person 4-Season tent is a bomber shelter for gnarly conditions. Whether you're actually trekking with three people, or using the Thor as base camp for you and your partner, you'll be stoked on its roomy interior and super protective vestibule. Marmot's unique Knees pole design provides extra interior room, while simultaneously strengthening the integrity of the tent. The combination of clips and sleeves prevents sagging, and this all stands up marvelously to the high-intensity winds you're likely to face on your expedition. The adjustable airflow ventilator prevents the collection of trip-killing condensation, while also preventing you from catching a trip-killing chill. Marmot's Window Weld prevents the vestibule from becoming weaker or leaking at the fly's window.
Bottom Line: The Thor's tough like a Viking, and roomy enough for a few too.

I've used the Thor 2 person on two expeditions - one to the Himalayas and one to the Karakoram. It's roomy, comfy, weatherproof and burly enough to handle two feet of snowfall in less than a 24 hour period. The roomy vestibule, bathtub floor and five-pole set up, makes for comfy and secure Base Camp living, or ABC/expedition camp use.
All told, we put 70 days into the Thor tent and it has enough life left for another expedition.

Have used this tent now on two trips, and it has lived up to my exceptions. Well built and rugged, withstood some nasty weather the one night and we stayed hi and dry. The only downside was it takes some time to set up.
