Warm enough & looks great

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'7"
    Weight: 160 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

First off, I trust the brand that is Marmot. I have used their Gore-tex pants in the past and remember loving it every moment. It ached me to give it away to a friend who started skiing and needed the pants.

As for the tights, I find it to be quite functional.
It does its job. Quite warm, indeed.
The size. I went with my normal pants size according to Marmot's sizing chart. It fits perfectly.

One pet peeve would be the color.
It could have been brighter.

The price was quite reasonable when I purchased it.
Summer sales do pay off. Got it for under $25.

Deepest leg-constricting crotch ever

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I'm 6'6'' / 185, 33-34 waist with a normal sized abdominal / crotch section but the crotch on this bottom is so low that it literally keeps me from spreading my legs quickly and makes me feel sluggish and slow. The leg length is a bit short, but that doesn't affect the crotch - which would do you well if you are a 77 yr old wearing depends (or the poppy-pants wearing kids that love stuff hanging down to their knees anyway).

To this bottom's credit its warm down to about 0 degrees normal (or wind chill) under insulated boarding Pants. Overall - Not snug in the midsection below your unit - not recommended.
