Staying cool and dry will keep you fly.
Layering well and staying dry are key even in warmer weather, so Marmot designed the Men's ThermalClime Sport Crew Long-Sleeve Shirt to be a quick-drying, moisture-wicking baselayer that's suitable for all activities in mild conditions. ThermalClime technology uses a Polartec PowerDry polyester fabric that's woven with smaller threads on the inside of the fabric, significantly increasing moisture transfer while remaining slightly stretchy. The Sport Crew also features flat-locked seams for increased comfort, and a tag-free neckline to eliminate irritation whether you're hiking, running, or chasing a Frisbee.
- Polartec PowerDry polyester fabric is quick-drying and moisture-wicking

Warm!
Fits true to size, breaths well, and is really warm! I wouldn't use this in even medium temps, too warm.
Arm pit area is a bit tight
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
- Fit:True to size
- Size Bought: Small
If you are okay with shirts being very tight where the pit is, then this shirt is for you. I liked how warm it kept me while I do my outdoor runs during the winter. This was my base layer follow by a crew neck.
Odd sleeves
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:True to size
Great fabric but the fit on the sleeves around the arms is odd. I think they need to rethink the patterning of the fabric on the arms and then this top would be killer.
Sleeves are long
- Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit:Runs large
- Size Bought: medium
I bought the 'Pro Crew' and this 'Sport Crew'. Pro is nicer, but the biggest issue is that the sleeves are 2" longer for some reason on the 'Sport Crew'. At 5'8", it's too long to just pull up as it bunches and looks poor. The rest of the fit is normal for a medium compared to all other brands such as Nike and Under Armor.
Great for Cold weather
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
- Fit:True to size
Purchased this item based on recommedations/advice from one of the friendly BackCountry product specialists. Needed mid to heavey weight thermal for temps <20F. I only tend to wear a thermal followed by formal ski jacket. Used it in the recent fridig East Coast weather temps 10F kept me very warm, would definitely recommend this for any one looking for thermals for colder temps; those trying to stay warm in temps <20F.
Size accuracy was excellent- true to sizing chart.
I used this in combonation with Salomon momentum theraml pants (again with only overlying light wieght ski pant) was very satisfied with the warmth it provided.

Sleeves are two inches too long. I am 5'8" 160 40r suit so medium is my go to size. Sleeves bunch up and don't feel smooth against skin.
