Wicks moisture and dries in a flash.

Give your hardworking legs a break with the Marmot Men's Thermalclime Pro Boot Tight. This baselayer features Polartec Power Dry fabric to wick moisture and dry up quick whether you're climbing a mountain or skiing down it. An athletic fit pulls this tight to your legs for easy layering, and the calf length reduces bulk in your boots. Even though the fabric is naturally stretchy, Marmot added a gusseted crotch for an even better freedom of movement. And flatlock seams keep your legs comfy from the bottom of the mountain all the way to the top, or vice versa.

    Perfect sizing

I got these because I did not like using full length thermals with knee high/ snowboarding socks. These are the perfect length with just a slight overlap and awesome when used with knee pads. Can't beat the sale price either. Definitely looking to get two more pairs.

      Not Holding Up

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: medium

I'm using these for skiing. Like the overall fit however they tend to ride up on my legs unless the socks I use are tight enough to hold them down. Big complaint is that the fabric is pulling on the thighs. I've only used a few times and always hand wash. There doesn't seem to be anything in my ski pants that could be causing the pulling.

      Pretty short in length.

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: L

I am 6' and was sized between a M and L. I opted for the L. The issue I had was that these are too short. Ideally these would come to the top of my ski boot but the reality is they end up just below my knee.

These might work for some but just understand the actual length on these. Other than that the fit appears to be true.

      I Dig the Boot Tops

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium

I have a couple pair of these, and they're great. I always pulled my other ones up over the tops of my ski boots anyway, so these make a ton of sense to me. They're also pretty warm and very breathable. Fit is true to size.

      Marmot makes great stuff

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love Marmot gear. I have a Marmot sleeping bag and it is one of my favorite things I own. Because I love Marmot and I know they make great stuff I thought I would try out these Marmot base layer pants and I was not disappointed. Although they were not what I expected. They are NOT TIGHTS they are a bit loser and pretty thin. I tried them out last Saturday up at Snow Basin and I stayed nice and toasty. They are very comfortable and the waste band is soft and secure but not to tight to hurt. I would recommend this to any skier/snowboarder who likes to stay warm while shredding the mountian.

      Pretty neat

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large

These aren't spandex. They fit more like form fitting cotton but they aren't that tight. My primary use for these is running when the weather isn't too cold. They are holding up nice and definitely keep me warm. I've used them for hiking but they're too hot for my preference. I put them through a hot wash the first time and now they fit a little better. Overall, they were a solid purchase as most Marmot products are but I won't be rushing back for another pair.
