Teton Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down - Women's

The Marmot Women's Teton Sleeping Bag - 0 Degree Down is cut with extra room for your hips and chest without sacrificing the snug fit that traps warming body heat. Women's bags boast extra insulation since we tend to sleep colder. Two-way zippers let you hang a foot out if you get too warm as the sun comes up, or you can mate your bag to another. The locking zippers keep the bag closed as you move so you don't wake up in the middle of the night freezing in a tangled mess. Cinch the 6-baffle hood—designed for best head coverage and down dispersal—around your face for maximum warmth. Cinch cords are positioned for easy access while “feely” draw cords eliminate nighttime fumbling. A Velcro®-free muff keeps the rigging out of your face and without the irritation of unclosed Velcro® tabs. Keep your watch/alarm secure with a built-in stash pocket. Actually achieve warm toes by stuffing heat packs into the roomy trapezoidal footbox's heater pocket. Hang loops at bottom let you easily dry your bag in the morning. Stuff sack included.

Bottom Line: Incredible attention to detail and keeping women warm, at a hot price.

Didn't need a liner!

By:
October 10, 2007

I brought this bag on our Kilimanjaro climb last month and stayed toasty warm in every camp. I usually sleep really cold, so I brought a liner just in case. Didn't need it-this bag was plenty warm. Knowing what I do now, I would rethink some of my gear purchases, but not this sleeping bag. It was the bomb!

very well thought out bag

I have had a few cold nights in the bag, and have appreciated the hood that doesn't place the drawstring right over your face, and the watch pocket is handy. I am 5'6'' and this bag is just barely long enough. Overall I am very impressed and would recommend it, it is spacious enough to turn around in, very warm, and I have yet to lose my pillow.

teton bag

The website gave a good description of the bag. It is a very warm bag. The shell material is of poor quality; the thread-count is too low; too much down leakage.

Makes Me Want to Camp

By:

I'm 5'10" and the long fits perfect. I've never had trouble staying warm in this bag, if anything I've got a foot out trying to balance the heat. In the mornings I zip it around my head & stay toasty warm. The outside material is soft and comfy on my skin, to me it's as good as a spa treatment as I kick back & check out the stars. I like the little pocket. It packs easily into my Osprey pack & it's very light.

toasty toes

This is a great bag with lots of great features (most importantly it keeps you really WARM), but my favorite thing is the pocket at the toes for those instant heat packs. I could hunker down in this bag all night and all morning.
