This vest is great for spring and fall running when a jacket gets too hot once I've warmed up. The fit is slim and flattering and the small fits me great with room to layer a shirt or sweater underneath (101lbs, 5ft 3") and it's not too long for my height. I bought a black so I can use it for work and travel as well as runs, hikes and dog walking.

Now that it's getting a little cooler, I needed some transitional hiking clothes, and I thought a vest would do the trick. I could put it over a long-sleeved shirt for early morning and take it off if it got too warm. This vest is perfect for that.

I'm 5'6" and about 34" around the chest, so I got the small, and it fits great - snug enough to keep in the warmth, but loose enough to allow for layering. I haven't had to zip it up all the way yet, but it does come up to turtleneck-height. I appreciate that it not only has zippered pockets for your hands, but it also has a zippered pocket on the chest.

I got the purple, which is a little sassy for my neutral hiking clothes, but it's fun!

I love the tempo vest for the those chillier mornings or shoulder season runs! It's lightweight and comfortable. I hardly even realize I'm wearing it. I also love the tight fitting pockets - I can throw my iPhone in without in bouncing around while I run. The collar is also close fitting without it feeling like it's choking you if you zip it all the way up.

It's a nice vest, just not quite right for me. I am 5'6 130lb 36C and the size chart indicated I would wear a medium, but this was pretty big on me. Based on the medium I think a small would be perfect for a person my size, even with a couple of layers underneath. That aside it's a nice light well made vest.

I bought this for my wife, was trying to find a softshell vest similar to my TNF Apex vest for layering and spring/Fall wear (and summer since we live in Montana) and this fits the bill very well. Excellent craftsmanship, very comfortable and looks great on her. Thanks!
