I am always so cold in the winter, especially in our drafty old house. This jacket was an answer to my prayers. It could be a little fuller in the upper arm but other than that the fit is fine. I am a full size woman so I had to buy a Men's but it keeps me warm and that's what I care about most. I did have to shorten the sleeves considerably because of this and I would have preferred a brighter color but the warmth factor was most important to me.

If you do not want warmth and comfort, do not buy the Marmot Supernova Jacket.

Love this jacket- it's oh-so-warm that I wish I'd bought two. Terrific fit & materials- the horizontal seam across the chest felt odd to me at first, but it is no longer a concern as I got used to the fit, which is very different than my previous fleece. Love the DriClime-lined collar, the long sleeves, the movement of the arms, and did I mention it's really warm?

I ordered this jacket because I was getting a little cold on the mountain with my older fleeces. Not anymore. This jacket keeps me nice and toasty even when it's r**ning.
The fit of the jacket is quite loose. There would definitely be room for another layer if it got arctic.
