I want more...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased these for use while backcountry skiing in the Wasatch - prior to these i was using a pair of thinner liners, and then a pair of mittens for the early hours/extreme cold, and would consistently find that my hands would get very warm, to the point where i'd take the mittens and the liners off. These allow me to take the mittens off but still retain a good hot/cold balance with my fingers free, and the remainder of my hand and arm covered to keep the core heat at a good level. Simply put these things are awesome, so good that i'd like another pair but will have to wait until they are in stock again. I'd recommend these for any cold weather sport.

Best Purchase in a while

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: one size

This is a creature comfort. They are AMAZING! Remember all those times you got snow stuck on your wrists and frost nip? NO MORE! Get a pair, you will love them. I wore them under different types of cold weather gloves.

Very useful; one size downside

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These things are great. I can't wait to use them patrolling since we take our gloves off at times for finger stuff. They should prove there worth also ice climbing.

Downside is they only come in one size. Therefore if your hand/wrist is on either end of the scale these probably won't be that great. I have a 8" or less circumference and go with medium gloves and I still want these tighter. So if you are a small size hands they will be loose and lose their effectiveness. Also if you have xl hands I see you probably ripping these things getting them on and off. If there made three sizes it would be better.

Excellent accessory

These are really useful. They are almost gloves in themselves, but you can also add liner gloves underneath, or mitts / ski gloves over them. They keep the whole hand warmer by maintaining insulation over the wrists all the time, even when gloves are off.

can you wear this OVER a ski mitten and jacket cuff. In other words it will be the last thing you put on after your jacket and gloves/mittens are on
