Down insulation that doesn't mind a bit of wetness.
The Marmot Men's Stockholm Down Jacket blends simple, slick style with alpinist performance. Super warm 700-fill down insulation heats you up nicely, and the down's Down Defender treatment makes the down water-resistant so it retains its loft (and warmth) even if it gets wet. All of this wonderful warmth feels super light and is wrapped up with a nylon shell that shines with glossy appeal.
The Stockholm features a removable hood when there's nothing but sunny skies overhead. Its cuffs feel super soft against your wrists thanks to the microfleece fabric. An elastic drawcord at the hem keeps all that lofty warmth in, and there's an internal media pocket so you can enjoy your favorite playlist.

Feathers peeling off
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I bought this a year back and i have used it few times, after wearing this for few times i noticed feathers peeling off from the jacket. I am not sure if this is common or the stitching was not good due to which the feathers keep coming out.
Great Jacket, but the fit
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 2 X large
I truly love Back-Country.Com, since my first purchase (Canada Goose Expedition) I have been enamored with the quality of the outerwear. My last purchase was a Stockholm Down Jacket (Marmot) size 2X. I normally wear a 3x in jackets but since the purchase of my Expedition, which fits large and was a 2X, I quite naturally thought the Marmot would fit the same. Unfortunately the jacket is a little snug, in essence it fits perfectly. My only negative is that I would have preferred it to fit loose. Perhaps the company can make this particular jacket in 3X. I am 5'9 inches tall and weigh 230 pounds thus the need for 3X. Hope this review can benefit. I will be a lifetime consumer of Back-Country products and encourage the masses to do so as well.
