Serious protection with a fun-loving appearance.
It's not the latest boy band invasion from the UK—instead, your daughter is smitten with the Marmot Girls' Starstruck Pants. She'll tear up the mountain, find new launching pads, and beat her brother on the race course. Marmot's MemBrain protects your precious daughter from snow sneaking in and allows excess hot air out so her legs never get that damp and clammy feeling. The seat and thighs are lined so she'll have a sweet lift ride to the top, time and time again.
Articulated knees make it easy for her to hike up if she likes playing in the park, and elastic gaiters keep the pant down around her boot. Your sweetheart is the apple of your eye, but she's a bruiser when it comes to her clothes. Cordura scuff guards protect her pant ankle from sharp edges and boot abuse. If the pant isn't shredded by springtime, the Grow-an-Inch cuffs give you the option of starting next winter without having to buy your daughter new snow pants.

I just bought a 2nd pair for my daughter, as she just outgrew the 1st. They're awesome, not some cheap kids gear w the Marmot logo slapped on & crazy price. FYI, the insulation is moderate - not a shell, but not super warm. We layer underneath on colder days, no problem. My only issue is that, even though there are adjustable tabs for the waist, it really doesn't adjust much. My daughter isn't overweight but has a little bit of a tummy, & they got pretty tight this season. (4'4", 70 lbs, 8 yrs old) She never complained, but it would've been nice if they had some elastic in the waist, instead of just the adjuster Velcro tabs. We haven't used the new, larger pair yet (they're for next season), but it seems the cuffs will shorten pretty nicely by folding under since they have that grow an inch feature there anyway. Otherwise, it's everything I wanted & plan to re-sell this w/her matching Moonstruck jacket for $100-125. After 1 1/2 seasons of moderate use & a few washes, they look practically brand new. Great gear!

My daughter needed a new ski pant this season. She is small for her age at 7 and most pants are too big. She is 48" tall. The M in this product works. It doesn't indicate it on the product description, but there are internal waist adjustments straps in addition to the suspenders. The Velcro waist pieces are inside the waistline. Pant cuffs are strong enough for kids ski edges and extend with growth. The pockets are soft on the inside and somehow thats what my daughter thinks is important. Its like an adult, insulated pant made for kids...Love Marmot gear.
