Marmot Solitude Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's

I own two of these and could not be happier. The Solitude has a great feminine cut, good length and sweet colors. I've washed and dried mine a dozen times and they look as good as when they arrived @ my door. These fit true to size given the nature of the fleece: form fitted, feminine and intended for casual wear. This isn't the warmest fleece but it keeps you warmer than a thick hooded sweatshirt. The shiny fleece makes it look unique perfect for everyday wear. Perfect for hikes, errands and fall walks.

** oh yes, my specs: I typically wear a small... sometimes an XS.... never a medium in jackets and shirts. I have a small in the Solitude... fits perfect. The arms are a bit short on me but that's something I'm used to. I'm 5'6", 130, 34C.

I bought this based on the excellent reviews. I hiked in the Grand Canyon with this, and it kept me warm at night to temps of 30C. If you're walking and hiking, you will end up sweating in it. I wear this to work everyday it is so comfortable. It washes well, and still looks new.

However, it sheds. So I have black flint from it stuck to my work clothes, which makes my clothes look dirty. That is a major downside.

I'm 5' 3" ish and 130. I ordered the small. slightly fitted the way I like it. havent had the fuzzy shedding that someone else had. cute too. M

This is the softest fleece jacket I've ever owned, feels like I'm wearing a fuzzy blanket all day!
The fit is great too, it has a nice longer length and good shape, not boxy.

I ordered a M, my normal Marmot size, and it felt too snug in the arms and the hips for my liking so I sent it back. The dark violet color was gorgeous, though, and the jacket appeared well-made. Super-soft, too.
