The designers at Marmot were sick of having one shirt for spring, another for fall, and yet another for winter. The only complaint that I have on this shirt is that it is cut extremely short (which tends to be characteristic of Marmot). Both XS, which I usually wear, and S were too short. I suppose it depends on how you are used to dressing, but I don't feel the need to flaunt my little tummy when I'm simply looking for a comfortable kick-around or workout shirt : )
