Decent backpack. Many uses.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My main complaint about the backpack is its backpanel/shoulder straps. The back panel is pretty rigid, not to the point that it's uncomfortable but it doesn't fit the contour of my back very well unless I've got it cinched down with the waist straps. I've used the bag during several resort days with friends to hold extra layers/sandwiches and it held up well. Didn't bounce around at all when hitting bumps or landing small airs. Other than that, it was my main around town bag. I could just narrowly fit my 17" laptop in the computer sleeve, plus my iPad, chargers, and a couple spirals etc in the main compartment.

Not crazy about the fit, but it is worth the money for what I've gotten out of it so far.

Decent backpack. Many uses.

What size hydration insert for this pack?...

What size hydration insert for this pack? I know it says "small" but up to how many ounces is "small"?

Responded on

I'd guess 1L. Most hydration bladders come in 1, 2, and 3L sizes, so I think you could safely assume a 1L would fit.

Is this pack the same quality as the full...

Is this pack the same quality as the full priced one since it's an Outlet version?

Responded on

The outlet version are the same quality, the only reason why we have it on outlet is because its a past season model.

Sturdy, but fit weird

I have never had any marmot products an was replacing my worn out NF backpack. An awesome bag but just dust fit me very well. The bag has a fairly rigid framin that didn't really confirm well to my back makin it kind I wonky. I am going to try the ledge I think.
