    Warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So usually when I get a sleeping bag I am always worried it's going to be cold. I run cold no matter what and usually have to layer up.. but not this time!! The first night out, temperatures hit 30. This was perfectly warm, without being too hot. I'm a 5'8" 155 lb. active woman and the mens' standard size was just fine for me - a few extra inches to spare in length and just enough room for comfort in hip and shoulder width. The zipper performed like a dream!

    Well Made, Warm Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Simply put, this bag is comfortable and warm. After several nights of use, I'd say that it's a great bag that can really take care of you in colder times. I wouldn't use it in summer again, as I did; though I knew it would be cold at night, I didn't realize how well the bag insulates. I definitely sweat through the bag my first night with it, since I wasn't expecting the level of insulation. If you're sleeping in a cabin, it's probably too warm to keep zipped; fortunately, the bag allowed me to keep a pocket zipped for my feet and leave the rest of the bag. As for features, the water resistance is useful, especially when you're covered in dew the next morning. Also, the bag dries fast, which can be really important when you don't have a lot of time to let it dry. When sleeping, I run pretty hot, so it's nice to open the bag, and the double zipper on the left side of the bag made it easy to leave an air vent open in the middle of the bag. As for cons, the bag should have a drawstring for the hood on the inside; it doesn't really make sense to have to pull the hood from the outside when you're inside the bag. Otherwise, the bag performed well; the stuff sack is great too, since I could compress my bag small enough to fit in the bottom of my backpack with a lot more space than I though I would get.
Summary: really warm, really tough, really comfortable. Great bag from a great company.
