Be proactive about cold with the Marmot Reactor Jacket. This full-zip fleece features flat seamlock construction for comfort so you can wear it day in and day out. Zippered hand-warmer pockets and a bonded zippered sleeve pocket provide ample storage for your cell phone, wallet, or hands. A hemline drawcord and wind flap behind the front zipper adds protection from fall gusts when you’re raking leaves.
Bottom Line: Pull on the Reactor jacket for warm comfort.
Bought this jacket for my dad and he wears it all the time, he retired his old jacket for Marmot. Comfort A+ Warmth A + Look A + Quality A+ Marmot Rocks !

Just purchased this jacket as I was looking for a light fleece for foggy, or chilly early morning / evening hikes and am planning to wear my Patagonia Houdini as a light shell (light rain) if needed.
I am 6' on the nose, and weigh in at 210lbs with a 45" chest. As always smack dab in the middle of everything when it comes to size charts. I ordered the XL as I prefer a slightly looser fit, but had heard Marmot runs a bit big (not so with my Precip jacket I purchased 6 years ago). I know I can exchange, but wanted to know if XL is the right size.
I had to replace an OLD pullover with a bottom drawstring cinch and it has taken a LONG time to find one.....this ones seems to fit the bill. It's a great lightweight fleece for the $$.
It will fit under as long as you dont have a super small precip... It would be good for spring skiing or when its not super cold but you might get chilly on some colder days
Purchased this fleece jacket to match with a Marmot waterproof shell, and it's fulfilled this role well. The manufacture quality of both items has been great. The products are quite durable.
It's a basic fleece jacket, so not much more to add.
Peter, Thanks for your question. The Marmot Reactor is built from Polartec Classic 100 weight fleece. There is 100 weight, 200 weight, and 300 weight fleece in the Polartec fleece family. That being said, the Reactor is lightweight, and would work great for three season use. I hope this is helpful for you.
It is light, it is stretchy, great for not so cold conditions on its own, windy it needs a wind shell, have used it in cold conditions as a layer, will be purchasing a second, as i love the first one so much. Fantastic cut and great for any sport where you move alot.
