The Marmot PreCip Jacket for Boys is constructed from the same great techy fabric as the adult PreCip, it's just cut for little guys. The PreCip Jacket wicks moisture away from the skin, without letting in water. While adults duck inside when it rains, kids play in it. The fully waterproof, seam-taped PreCip for boys is impenetrable to rain. An adjustable hood rolls up when not in use, and a DriClime chinguard keeps them comfy. With plenty of room to layer beneath, the PreCip Jacket can even be used as a weatherproof shell in winter time.

Great jacket. Very versitle. I installed a a draw chord around the waist to help when playing in the snow.

Quite happy with the jacket. It's small enough for my son to easily pack away in a cubby hole in his daypack for school. Well made. The only con is that it is not a breathable as I would like, so some condensation accumulates inside on warm days.

There are no pit zips on the kids Precip jackets. The adult Precips do have pit zips.

My son wore this hiking up in the mountains and it kept him warm enough and dry. I love the portability factor. I had this thing so rolled up into this tiny little ball that it took up hardly any space at all in my back pack. Great little rain jacket!

This jacket keeps my 4 year son completely dry - it is lightweight and can be rolled up into his school bag.

We're getting ready to set off on an 11 month RTW trip that will take us thru much of Asia & Oceania. The Precip is the linchpin item in our packing regimen, as I'm sure we'll bump up against the monsoon along the way. This pint-size version is as good as the full-size, and as the other reviewers mentioned, it rolls up into practically nothing.
