Pounder Plus Sleeping Bag: 25 Degree PrimaLoft - Women's

The Marmot Pounder Plus Women's 25-Degree PrimaLoft Sleeping Bag concentrates insulation in critical areas to keep you warmer than comparable ‘unisex' bags. By concentrating PrimaLoft Sport insulation around the core and feet, Marmot managed to create a synthetic sleeping bag that keeps you warm at 25F (-4C) and weighs only 1lb 15oz. The Women's Pounder Plus Sleeping Bag also has a trapezoidal foot box to keep your feet from getting cold due to restriction. This Marmot bag is a great choice for three-season camping when you're cutting weight but don't want to resort to a down sleeping bag.

Bottom Line: The Marmot Women's Pounder Plus Sleeping Bag keeps you warm for a pound and change.

Superb sleeping bag

I have the men's version from two years ago and it is one of my favorite sleeping bags. It really nails the boundary between ultra-light and durable, and keeps me very warm in the process. This is my go-to bag for summer alpine climbs and bivy kits.

The stuff sack that comes with this sleeping bag is way too big.

The stuff sack that comes with this sleeping bag is way too big. I need to save space in my backpack. Any one knows what size compression stuff sack I need? Thanks in advance.

This medium size (15L) compression stuff sack will work just fine for your needs:

These are the one's I use. 16L is the medium size:

Marmot Pounder Plus 25 Women's

By:
March 30, 2009

I am 5'5" tall and my wife is 5"1" tall so we both purchased the Womens's version of the Marmot Pounder Plus 25. Just tested it out at 38 degrees, and we were both very comfortable (just wore a pair of socks, and a very thin base layer). Very happy with our purchase of these sleeping bags.

Plan to buy smaller stuff sacks since we plan on riding a Tandem Bicycle across the United States, and need to save as much space as possible. Looks like a compression bag half the size of the one supplied might be possible with this bag.

Great bag for 3 season use.
