Description

Lots of warmth but not a lot of weight.

The Marmot Plasma 0 Down Sleeping Bag combines high-tech fabric, Marmot's classic design, and the insulation of 900-fill down to keep you warm in sub-freezing conditions. This bag will hold back the cold during winter treks and ski tours when you can plan on the weather being being beyond chilly.

  • Zero-degree rating and an EN lower-limit rating of 3 degrees Fahrenheit means this bag will get you through a night when temps approach zero; you'll be able to sleep comfortably with temps in the low teens
  • 900-fill goose down provides serious insulation against brutal temperatures
  • Inostect Flow vertical baffle system helps distribute heat evenly from your head to your toes while reducing total weight
  • Mummy shape holds warmth close to your body, and a wrap-around foot box helps maintain loft around your the bottom of your bag so your feet don't freeze
  • DWR-treated 10D Pertex Quantum ripstop fabric offers an optimal weight-to-durability ratio and sheds moisture while remaining extremely packable
  • Insulated hood and internal collar with easy-access drawcord protect your head and neck from the cold
  • Full-length two-way zip with insulated draft tube is easy to get in and out of, and it prevents cold air from seeping in between the zipper's teeth
  • Two hang loops let you air your bag out after (or during) trips

What would you say is the most compressible 0 degree F bag out there.... I'm really looking to save space in my pack?

This is probably it. You're looking for a bag with a thin shell and a high fill count, both of which this has. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but if you find a bag with a higher fill count, that's the one.
