Extra toasty and extra stylish.
Whether your daughter is just learning to ride a bike or is about to get her learner's permit, the Marmot Girls' Montreaux Down Coat lets her tromp through snowy playgrounds or stroll through Central Park without having to stop for cold knees or fear of the fashion police. Down gives your young lady dialed-in warmth whether she's skipping by your side or flinging snowballs at your head, and the full length lends elegance.
Polyester finished with DWR lets a flurry or sleety drizzle bead up and roll off your sweetie's shoulders. Baffled construction not only holds the 700-fill down in place but also provides definition and shape-sculpting to this puffy coat. Down Defender treatment protects the feathers from the weather so your daughter won't walk through the door a wet and soggy mess when she's walked through a steady snow to get home. The hood is filled with down to protect her head from the cold, and the faux fur trim comes off if she gets worried that it looks too much like real fur.
Plush fleece lines the torso so you know she's warm even if you didn't end up agreeing on what she's wearing. The hand-warmer pockets sport a sweet-feeling liner to cuddle her paws when her mittens mysteriously disappear. Microfleece internal cuffs help keep the sleeves down and her wrists warm. A two-way center zipper means she can zip up a bit from the bottom for ease of movement, and an inner storm flap ensure the wind and weather stays where it belongs, outside of your daughter's jacket.

- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Customer says that the small (size 6) runs very big, average size child was "swimming in it". Jacket was long on the sleeves and on the length as well.
