Base layers can get pretty smelly on a weeklong trip, so Marmot used combination of Cocona fibers and Polartec Power Dry fleece to reduce the funk factor when you head to the mountains with the Women's Midweight Bottom. Ski, climb, or hike as the fuzzy fabric keeps you toasty warm and wicks moisture from your skin. The Marmot Midweight Bottom also includes a gusseted crotch for total freedom of movement and flatlock seams that eliminate any chafing.

Bottom Line: Stay warm and stink less when you wear the Marmot Midweight Bottom.

Minus 20 C

By:

My missus wore these in conditions down to -20C and she said she was toasty warm. It was windy on the mountain and she hardly felt the cold, perhaps on the odd occasion on the chairlifts but that was only a few minutes even then she said it wasnt as cold she thought it would feel. Great purchase...cheers

Light and comfy

These were perfect under my ski pants. The inside is a little bit textured and I think that helps trap even more heat. They were very comfortable and lightweight. I did not feel the cold at all on the lift or while skiing in 20F-35F weather.

Toasty but a bit bigger than expected

By:

These bottoms are toasty warm (and a fun color in the blue grotto), but I was surprised to find the large a bit longer in the leg and baggier in the bum than I had expected. I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds, so I thought a large would probably be fine. I think maybe this pair of long underwear doesn't run as tight as some I've tried on before. All in all, though, I'm pretty sold. I just won't be able to sport the cute color around the cabin because the fit isn't quite the cutest.

Toasty Warm

By:

I wore these the first time a couple of weeks ago right when Stevens Pass opened up/ I used them under my Marker Gore-tex ski pants. Perfect weight and warmth for the 23 degree day. Also a great fit. I am only giving them four stars because I have only worn them once. They seem to do the job I bought them for though. Would Recommend.

Very nice

By:

These are great! We're having a heck of a winter down south and they keep me warm no matter where I go - in the woods or playing music by a campfire. Long on me, but then I'm a little big around the middle. The longer length stays up inside my pants and is not a problem.

A little to big

I had the same problems as others that have reviewed this item. It was a little to big If you normally wear a L try the medium. Once I worked out the size problem these felt and worked great!
