Take your first step towards comfortable warmth when you layer with the anti-microbial Marmot Men's Midweight Bottom. These Polartec fleece base layer pants feature flat-lock seams for less chafe and rub when you layer, and a gusseted crotch for un-restricted movement. The Midweight Bottom's Cocona treatment keeps odor to a minimum, while the stretchy insulating fabric provides a form-hugging fit.

Bottom Line: Long johns redefined.

These are warm enough to wear when the temps drop but breathe well enough that you can get away with wearing them with the temps rise. Stretchy material fits snug without feeling like compression leggings.

Marmot Midwieght Bottoms

By:

Very comfortable and warm. They're not too tight but definitely tight enough to keep all your warmth in. I wore them for an entire weekend of hiking and camping and they kept the stench away.

Nice and warm

These work pretty well. I've used them in mid teens all the way into the 40's. Nice a comfy and they breathe well. My only gripe is they pill after a few washes. Other than that, a nice mid-layer.

One of the best I have

Very breathable baselayer. Skintight underwear allows to feel free during dynamic activity.
High breathable rate cover two essential features: Cold stress protection with Heat stress prevention.

Wore these winter backpacking in single digit temps and they kept my legs warm. Very comfortable and great fit. The top goes really well with these too. Same fit and fabric.

Warm, comfy

I got this for a base layer for snowboarding in the Tahoe area. Tahoe is not very cold and can be warm, especially in the Spring.

So far, it is meeting my needs well and I like the feel of it next to my skin.

Great baselayer

By:
January 6, 2011

It took some getting used to just wearing this baselayer under my shell pants but they do great under a non-insulated shell even on cold days. I'm 6'3" 200 and a Large fits pretty well. They are pretty snug and skit tight which is good.

Even on the coldest ski days, I still go for these under a shell pant, and I've never needed any more than that. Comfortable as can be, great wicking, and great warmth to weight factor

All you need

You can wear these in various conditions. Here in Utah, it can be 20 degrees in the morning and 50 in the afternoon. I wear these when I ride my bike to work and I'm comfortable in both 20 and 50 degree weather. They're really comfy and the fit is great. I have a 32 inch waist a 32 inch inseam and the Mediums fit me perfect. I wouldn't spend the money to buy a different pair that cost more. These work perfect!
