Replacing my older Marmot baselayer

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Having 3 sets of older Marmot baselayer tops and bottoms that are now just a little too small so I decided to get this new midweight baselayer as a replacement in black XL and they are excellent. What a difference there is in the latest fabric technology for providing warmth. Already purchased a second set (blue) and additional midweight top (black).

if you don't mind my asking but what are your sizes. I am trying to order some and am torn between L and XL. I am 6'5" with a 36" waist and have an athletic build. I really just dont want these sliding down off my waist.

Thanks

I'm 6'2" 195lbs, waist 36, so you'll need XL for sure. I've worn my set/ top and bottom in XL a few times now and they are excellent fitting.

Plumber's crack

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These do a nice job of keeping you warm, but there is no room in the crotch to waist region. You can't really pull them up high enough and they always feel like they are falling down. 5'8" 145lbs, size M. Gonna try to return them to the Marmot store.
