good but not great

I took this and the bottoms on a 7 day back packing trip to Isle Royale in late September. The temps were between 30-40 degrees every night so I bought this as in camp/sleeping base layers. They were comfy and really warm but I completely disagree with the statement that they keep down the smells (the clothes I hiked in all day smelled better after 5 days than these did sleeping in them for 2). Luckily they dry super fast so I'd dunk them in the lake every night and without soap the funky smell did go away (thank god) but sadly on our last night we had a campfire and after 5-6 machine washings they still smell deeply of burning wood. Total bummer because the top is cute enough to get away with it around town I think next time I will go back to Capilene.
