Limestone 4-Person Footprint

The only thing worse than waking up with a stick stabbing you in the back is waking up with a stick stabbing you in the back and a hole in the floor of your tent. Marmot’s Limestone 4-Person Tent Footprint can’t, unfortunately, make the ground as smooth and soft as your bed, but it can make sure the lumps and bumps and sticks don’t poke holes in your Limestone’s floor.

Perfect fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This footprint is perfect for the Limestone tent -- it adds that really valuable layer of protection from moisture and the inevitable root or stone so keeps it from getting ripped or soiled. The straps exactly match the poles so the fit is perfect and tight, no wrinkles. It is well worth the money

It fits, it works.

What can I say? It's a footprint and it fits the tent. The only thing that might be better is if it was included with the tent.

The Limestone 4p footprint

It’s the quality you would expect from Marmot. The review request comes too early to give a proper field test. The initial visual inspection instills confidence!

No more odd sized tarps!

I bought this footprint because I am done with buying tarps that never fit the base. The quality is good and it's simple to install.

Good idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Save the bottom of your tent. Way better than a tarp.

Alaskan Downpour

First time using was a camping trip with pouring rain. Completely dry inside; does it’s job and fits our limestone tent perfectly.

Don't go without it.

I hesitated ordering this because it was more expensive than a tarp, but ordered it anyway. Used it this past weekend set up next to a person using a tarp for a footprint. Well, it rained. Because the tarp wasn't custom fit for his tent, water had come down the side of his tent onto the exposed part of the tarp and started gathering between the tarp and tent floor. It was like a water bed in his tent with the water having no place to go. My tent was a different story. Because my footprint was cut specifically for the tent there was no footprint out past the tent for water to get onto thus no waterbed effect like my neighbors tent. Glad I bought it.
