The sizing of these shirts is off. If you wear an XL you might want to size up or it will look like the shirt is painted on. I really liked the feel of the fabric.

Also, just as a future reference, Marmot clothing tends to have an 'athletic' fit which may make your normal size seem tighter depending on your body type. You should probably always size up 1 when buying Marmot gear if you don't fit their cut.

Hey Bob, you might want to read the item description again. It's a "Wicking" shirt. Meaning its supposed to be skintight, so all the sweat you produce is absorbed by the shirt. so "painted on" is actually the goal here.

Usually can't go wrong with Marmot and I appreciate the technology behind the shirt, but this way too scratchy. Returned it.

Hubby loves the shirt. He was tired of the old boring white undershirt, requested some shirts with a bit more style ... Marmot has it all, color, look and feel.
