Sleeves are overrated.

In the Rockies, the wind blows through your layers like a hot knife cuts through butter; be ready for it with the Marmot Leadville Softshell Vest. The Gore-Tex WindStopper fabric blocks the wind as it howls through high mountain passes, and the Leadville's exceptional breathability will keep you cool when you're in warmer, more sheltered spots. You can easily slide a shell over the stretchy, smooth Marmot M2 softshell fabric, toss your stuff 'n' things in the numerous pockets, and laugh at your buddy who's still riding the sleeves train.

  • Gore-Tex Windstopper membrane
  • Marmot M2 softshell fabric
  • Venting side panels
  • Hand, chest, and internal pockets

Living one pass over from the Ice Queen, I automatically liked this vest. Granted, Im a vest addict, an have a quiver of vests, this is a good addition. Lightweight, stretchy, and wind proof, im pumped.

Right on! Have one for years, the 4 pockets are very usefull

Hello BC
In the inside photo it shows that the fabric is some gray textile, which I suppose is the softshell fabric, ¿does it goes all the way to the back as well?
The inside back view shows there is another layer, is it extra to the inside front gray layer? ¿or this back brighter layer is the only layer?

I have a previous version of this vest (bought in 2014 winter). There are some minor differences between mine and the current version, but I believe the structure is similar.

From mine, sides are venting panels mentioned in the description. The side venting panels is a different material and very stretching. I guess that the gray textile(inside look) is the "windstopper membrane", which is in front and back. There is a mesh layer on front inside.

Hope this helps.
