I have one of these and intend to get another one.

It is comfortable and warm.

I have three of these now, 2009 model, in XL, which fits like I would expect. Love the stretchy flat side panels - no bulk, has some give. Nice armhole wraps. Super comfortable, just the right layer to add core warmth under light to heavy outerwear - depending on the temp. Nice colors. Worth the money.

Great Vest!

This is a great vest! It is a true fit, not bulky or square and, therefore, very feminine and flattering. I wore this vest in Whistler over a sweater or fleece top with a base layer for apres ski wear and it kept me warm. It is buttery soft. One of my male ski buddies fell in love with it and actually attempted to put it on. Ha! He wants to see if Marmot makes a men's equivalent. I live in a warm climate so this vest is perfect for those rare occasions when we get cooler temps. I have two of these vests and will likely get a couple more in different colors. As mentioned by others, the zippers do tend to get the fabric stuck in them but with a little care one can zip and unzip without having this issue.

Great warm vest for skiing

This is a great vest. I used it for skiing and it was very comfortable. The great thing about synthetic insulation (and I had researched that this is the best synthetic insulation type) is that it insulates even when wet. Particularly when using it for winter sports, when you constantly go between sweating and becoming cold, it is superior to goose down.

Love it -- warm and light

This vest really is another great find from Marmot. I own another Marmot item which I have had for 11 years and has gone around the world with me and is still pristine, so I hope I will be saying the same about this vest as well. It's soft, a little stretchy, and warm. A few of my friends have quilted black vests which are insulated and I happen to think mine's the cutest.

Great vest, lightweight, breathable and still adds that little bit of extra warmth. Looks good too.

Warm, cute vest

On chilly fall mornings I'll wear this vest out, as it's just right for cool, but not cold, weather. It's got a nice feminine fit, an inside pocket, and a cute fit.

My wife is 6 ft. tall and slender. Will a large size in this vest be long enough for her?

Responded on

NO. Not at all. My girlfriend is 5'8 and slender. She tried the vest in a small and extra small. While the body fit changed the length did not. It basically stopped at her belly button or just below. Conversely other vests fell down by her the top of her pants - which for an insulating layer is what you want. If you have anything close to a normal length torso this vest will be too short for you. It's a shame too because the vest is a very nice vest.

KITZBUHEL VEST - WOMEN'S

I now have 3 of these vests, two from '07 and one from '05 and like them a lot, BUT, I prefer the zipper from '05, as I find the new zippers challenging to align and zip.
