Description

Keeping you comfortable from the inside out.

There are tons of jackets on the market that keep precipitation from getting to your skin, but few jackets pay as much attention to pulling moisture and perspiration from the inside out as the Marmot Interfuse Jacket. This fully waterproof, highly breathable technical shell is lined with Marmot's proprietary DriClime Mesh, which is specifically designed to move moisture away from your body and out to the surface of the jacket where it can evaporate quickly. The Interfuse also features Angel Wing movement and Extra Stretch Performance to provide an unlimited range of motion and make the jacket ideal for skiing, hiking, and even ice-climbing.

  • Waterproof breathable Membrain FusionDri technology protects you from nasty weather
  • Nylon plain weave face fabric stretches for easy mobility and a comfortable feel
  • Fully taped seams eliminate waterproof weak areas
  • Water-resistant zippers throughout the jacket protect you and your valuables
  • DriClime bonded mesh lining pulls moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable
  • Angel-Wing articulated sleeves for a natural fit with no binding and no lifting up when you raise your arms
  • PitZips zippered underarm vents allow air to flow freely through the jacket when you need to cool down
  • Fully adjustable hood with reinforced laminated brim allows you to position the brim exactly how you want it
  • Hook-and-loop closures at the asymmetric cuffs and a drawstring hem seal out drafts
  • 2 chest and 2 hand pockets, all with water-resistant zippers, for carrying the essentials

See Marmot's website under the tab for technology and then membrain, then membrain FusionDri. Marmot posts Waterproofness: JIS L- 1092: 30,000 mm
Breathability: JIGS - 1099 B1: 50,000 gm/24hr
However they have this garment with 70 denier fabric and another jacket with 15 denier fabric. I don't know if the grade of denier affects breathability. I'm researching a possible replacement of a 10 year old goretex xcr and had a great experience with a Marmot gen 1 paclite parka when I had kids who I could drag out on trips with me.

Does this jacket have a powder skirt?

Does anyone know if the specs are correct...

Does anyone know if the specs are correct on this jacket in the description? I have been to several other websites and I am getting conflicting information. I usually wear an XL. I am 6'0 and weigh 250 lbs. I do have a longer torso and arms.

Responded on

According to Marmot's website, the specs for an XL size top are as follows:
Chest: 45-47in ; Neck: 17.5-18 in ; Sleeve: 36-37 in ; Waist: 37-39 in; Hip: 46-48 in ; Inseam: 33.5 in.
The only difference that I note in BC's provided sizing chart was that BC lists the Chest size for Marmot-brand clothing as being 46-49 in. Other than that, though, they're identical.
Hope this helps.
