They do the job....but waist is a pinch.

I got these pants because I wanted the ease of putting them on over a uniform and they work perfect for that. They keep me dry and even though not meant really for warmth, the do help keep you a little warmer.
The only thing I dont like about the waist band. Its pretty tight. I tried to stretch it out a bit and hope that over time it will but it was squeezing me around my stomach and at times.....very annoying. But what I did was just losten the zipper at the top and hope that eventually they will stretch out.
For the price, they are overall pretty great.

    A Little Short

Fit is good but runs a little small. Fits better than most and doesn't seem as baggy as others. I ordered a medium so I could wear another pair underneath. No way that will work. They're about an inch too short as well. Just arrived and I haven't decided whether to send back for a larger size. I like the pant over all.

      Keeps you dry and warm.

There is velcro at the sides of the waist where the zippers start- snaps or buttons would be more comfortable. Other than that they are great. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability.

Are there pockets, & if so, where? Can't...

Are there pockets, & if so, where? Can't tell from the photo.

There is a zippered hand pocket on each side, right around where a pocket would be on a pair of khakis. There's also a single zip pocket on the rear, right side. They're a bit easier to see in Marmot's picture:
