Ohdear—you were visiting a friend at NASA and you accidentally ended up in the wind tunnel. Good thing you’re wearing your Marmot Women’s Firefly Fleece Jacket. The WindStopper fabric works to keep your core warm while you make yourself as aerodynamic as possible. A wind flap behind the front zipper helps block the breeze and front pockets warm your hands (assuming you can move them against the subsonic air speeds and into your pockets).
Bottom Line: Also works well for more day-to-day windy situations.

I gave this jacket to my wife for Christmas. I think she has worn it everyday since! She loves it by itself or layered with a softshell. Get this one!

I love the fleece is every way EXCEPT, it is the biggest fur/lint magnet I have ever owned (and I have owned a lot of fleece jackets). Even brand new, I thought it looked a little linty, but after wearing it the first time around my cat and dog, I was covered in fur. No matter how many washes, dryer sheets, and lint removers I threw at it, it always has fur stuck to it. It may be less noticeable with the other colors, but I would not recommend black for people who are around animals at all. For that reason, I pretty much only wear it under a jacket and now I am thinking I will exchange it for another fleece.

This is a great spring/fall fleece, or an excellent jacket alternative for a warm ski day. The windstopper fabric is great- it really does take away the windchill factor, and keeps me really warm. Great fit- true to size.

No, the Firefly has a coil zipper and won't zip into any of the zip in shells. Check out the Marmot Brilliant jacket if you're looking for a zip in style.

She wears it almost everyday. great windproofing, as good as or better than my Patagonia LW R4. Keeps her really warm from about 30 up with minimal windchill. highly recommended. even though the lighter colors tend to get dirty, just keep it clean.
