oversized but super warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge but nice mittens. I have these in large that are over 10 years old and still going strong. We decided to get some from my 12-year-old son and I measured his hand and ordered the small. They fit my hands perfectly and are way too big for him. We’re going to keep them since we got them at such a great price and he’s growing so quickly.

Check your sizes, great mits!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bigger than I thought but soooo warm. I can wear by normal gloves with these over...might buy another pair

High quality but run large for size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made and warm, but run on the large side. For me, this was not an issue because I intended to wear a pair of wool gloves underneath, but they do run one size large.

Warm and great for all conditions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my husband as his previous gloves were wearing out. I have the warmest mitt and while mine seem thicker than his, he doesn’t run as cold as I do. He says they’re perfect, and if below 0 degrees he could add a liner and they’d still be toasty. He’s a big fan! Size runs true to size (he’s normally a M and I got him a M)

Warm hands in 0 to -10 degrees Alaska temps

My girlfriend got me size large winter gloves for Christmas and I love them! 100% worth it.

Four years with these Mittens

I've had these mittens for at least 4 ski seasons, possible more (I don't remember). I ski frequently at the local resort and also in the backcountry. I've worn these mittens in just about every kind of weather including temps as low as -15 F with wind chill, rain, snow, sun, you name it. I would say that I am very average when it comes to natural cold tolerance. I don't run hot but I also don't run cold. These mittens have worked really well for me for years. The only drawbacks are that 1. oftentimes they are TOO warm, my hands will start sweating and I will have to take them on/off frequently during ski tours and 2. No dexterity (its a mitten, Duh!) I've actually found that I am more comfortable and warmer on a long ski tour if I wear the mittens and take them off for walk/ski transitions (as long as I am very quick about it) versus wearing any type of glove the entire time. One time, I actually fell off an icy log while trying to cross a creek in December and was completely submerged in the cold water. Even though these mittens got really wet, I still wore them for the 5 miles I had to hike out (in 23 F), and they STILL kept my hands warmer than without them. Now that's a good review!

Nice mittens but my hands still froze

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used for one day skiing at Big Sky. Temps were in the mid teens. My hands were freezing all day. I guess my next step is battery powered mittens. My last pair were much warmer than this new Marmot design.
