Why We Like The Marmot Ether DriClime Hooded Jacket

When chilly gusts and passing showers meet us at the summit, we stay comfortably dry zipped in the Marmot Ether DriClime Hooded Jacket. The tough exterior mutes winds and sheds light precipitation, while the elastic cuffs and cinchable hem stop the cold and the wet from finding another way in. When the sky clears and the wind dies down, we zip this ultralight layer into its own pocket and clip it to our pack until it's needed again.

Please bring back the original DriClime

I was very disappointed in this "new" version of the CriClime jacket. I had the truly original from around the late 1990's and absolutely loved it, and still using and love it. I wanted the new version for the hood. I researched reviews and was confident I would get something similar and as good of quility. The lining in thinner and not as insulating. It is difficult to put on cause your arms get stuck on the new lining fabric, not the case with the original lining. No pit vents so the jacket does not breath as well. The outer fabric seems cheap and less durable and does not breath as well. The original is a classic superior product, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

Heads up!

This jacket was waterproof and wind proof which was my aim but the lining was troublesome EVERY time I put the jacket on. If I would have had nothing on my arms (sleeveless), it would have been fine, but alas, I had another shirt on so it was a problem.

versatile and durable for being so lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very versatile and durable for being so lightweight. I have a Driclime shirt without a hood for myself and I bought this for my Wife and she loves it. She is 6'1" and slim, but a medium fits her.
