Marmot Eiger 48 Backpack - 2950cu in - 2009 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
Marmot designed the Eiger 48 Backpack to be a versatile, do-nearly-anything pack for day and overnight trips in the summer and winter. The 2980cu inch volume lets you head out for the weekend if you pack light, and it easily carries all you need for a ski tour or day or cragging. Marmot added an A-frame ski-carry system for use on pow days, and integrated gear loops help you carry your rack on an alpine climb.

Great Pack

I have many backpacks. This one is the one I use on 2 or 3 day trips. I am 6'1" 217lb and it fits perfect. I like to eat well on the trail. That means lots of food. I have a jetboil and a Primus classic stove with pots and pans. That means a big kitchen. I like to have extra cloths and things to do in camp. I am not a go lite backpacker and for 2 or 3 days I get all my luxuries and gear in this pack. It rides like a dream.

In this picture the pack is loaded up with all of my winter clothes, a 2p tent, a sleeping pad, a winter sleeping bag, 3.5 days worth of food, a cooking pot with the stove inside, fuel, and a few small winter essentials.
