Marmot Earlylight 2-Person Tent w/ Footprint & Gearloft - 2008 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
The Marmot Earlylight 2-Person Tent gives first-time tent-buyers a great start for backcountry adventures. The double-doors keep you and your partner from trampling each other on the way in and out. Marmot also added full-size double vestibules for plenty of out-of-the-rain storage. When you want to go really light, you can pitch the Earlylight Tent's fly and footprint while leaving the body in the trunk of your car.
Bottom Line: Time to go camping.

Since I picked up this tent in May I've used it almost every weekend since in a variety of weather conditions with no disappointments. It's handled moderate wind/rain on the Maine coast, torrential rain and thunderstorms in upstate New York, and plenty of heat. It's easy to set up and I'm always the first done (make sure you put the rain fly on the correct way). The included footprint and gear loft are a huge plus.
My only complaint is that, since it doesn't have a true bathtub floor, in heavy rain dirt bounces up under the rain fly and can get the bottom of the tent wet/dirty.
If you are debating between the one door (limelight) and this two door get the two door. Friends will want to stay in this tent!

Wasn't sure if to get one or two door tent. But i am happy i got two door tent. One of the doors i could use to store stuff only.
Also It was completely dry after a few hours of the rain

I took this tent on a mountain hiking trip last weekend. It was probably 30F, no snow and a cold wind.
With the tent pitched up as described more...
Bulldog Frank
Marmot makes good stuff but this fell a little short. Pros: It's a great tent in fair to mild weather, easy to set up with the clips and has the convenience more...
