Description

If the Dena were a person, you'd describe her as fun-loving and easy-going.

The Marmot Women's Dena Jacket may be the last jacket you'll ever need. The Dena keeps you warm as a standalone jacket on chilly days or under a shell when the weather really decides to get nasty. It's perfectly at-home just kicking around town, but this jacket also loves to go skiing. The Dena even gets the nod from good ol' Planet Earth for its Thermal Eco R insulation, which is derived from recycled materials.

surprisingly warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Wore it at upper 20s with one mid weight base layer for a short walk across street and didn't feel cold at all. . Am very impressed by it's puffiness. But second to another reviewer's point that it's not very easy to get the jacket on and off. Maybe a lower zipper can solve the issue?!!!

A little snug

Love the grey color and the shiney texture. The sizing/fit is a little odd. It seems to run a little small. It feels narrow when you pull it on and has no elastic around the waist but once it's on it actually doesnt seems as small. I think the next size up would be too big but you probably cant' fit more than a light base layer under, which seems like a warm, comfortable fit. If you are broad shoulder or busty though I'd definitly size up. Love the color, like the jacket over all.
