Description

A soft, warm, breathable pant that really lets you make your ski day a workout.

The Marmot Women's Davos Pant has a lot going for it. Yes, a lot besides its good looks. It doesn't just have a feminine, modern boot cut with a slightly flared cuff and pretty built-in belt. It offers more: Marmot's high-performance M1 Softshell fabric, which breathes remarkably well, insulates against the cold, and resists all but the heaviest precipitation.
  • M1 Softshell's smooth outer face deflects wind and moderate snow, and it stretches easily to let you move freely
  • Internal gaiters with gripper elastic keep the snow out of your ski boots
  • Articulated knees let you move through your powder turns with ease
  • Cordura scuff guards boost durability and stand up to ski-edge abuse

I love the pants, so far. I have not been out on the slopes yet, but I tried them on at home, they fit nicely (the croch area is a little short, but nothing that would make me return them, I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit over time) They are flatterning and the dove gray color is great. I'm 5'4" about 115 lbs, so the small was perfect for me.

Can anyone tell me the inseam of this...

Hi, I just received my Marmot Davos pant and was very surprised how short they were. I'm returning--bummed. I'm barely 5'4 and ordered the XS; too short!

There is a sizing chart next to "Select options" that has the inseams fro each size. They vary from 27.5 to 32 inches.

I'm curious about whether or not this pant...

I'm curious about whether or not this pant is insulated. If so, what type of insulation. I'm needing a warm pant.

This pant is not insulated. It uses Marmots M1 softshell, which is their warmest and thickest softshell, but it has no insulation.

Do they come in petite sizes, like a 28"...

Do they come in petite sizes, like a 28" inseam? What are measurement for size small?

You probably have an answer already, but for future reference there is a sizing chart next to "Select options". Best of luck!

I saw these in my local ski shop and fell in love before even trying them on, I just knew they were exactly what I wanted. What I had been searching for was a flattering pair of soft shell ski pants that were not super high rise with huge hips. Every pair I tried on were nearly up to my ribcage at the waist and the wide hips resulted in flaps on my sides resembling old school riding pants. Blech. Not the Davos though, they fit remarkably like normal pants - wow, what took everyone so long!

These are super warm even on the windiest days on the slopes, and not to mention comfortable! Feels like you're skiing in your favorite pair of PJs. My only issue is that for me the Mediums were too short so I went for the larges, which fit me baggier than intended but the length is right. If they made a Medium-long I'd be all over that!
I am trying to buy a second pair but everyone is sold out of these pants so get them wherever you can they are worth every penny.

Shoot! I love everything about these pants but I think they run pretty small. I usually wear a size 14/16 but the XL barley made it past my knees!! I wish this manufacturer and others would make plus size ski pants -there is such a thing as an active plus-sized woman!

Finally a pair of ski pants for women that you can MOVE in.I was skeptical when I first received them. The pants are not thick at all. So if you are expecting a thick layer of insulation, you are not going to find that in these pants. That being said, I put them on and went outside in 30 degree weather and was absolutely fine.I don't know how to describe the fabric...it reminds me of kind of a funky scuba suit material on the outside and the inside is a very thin layer of soft fleece material.I am 5'8" and weigh approx 140. It is truly a low rise pant with enough material in the back to cover your fanny when you bend over. The pants came about two inches below my belly button. Waist fit darn near perfect. Length was pretty much spot on, wouldn't really want it any shorter for me.The pants are definitely boot cut, almost bell bottom, but you cannot tell from looking straight on. I think they will fit perfect over a pair of ski boots. The gaiter opening is a little bit large, but again, probably just about right for ski boots. The size was fairly true to size. I normally take a medium in most pants, this pant does not fit completely skin tight on me, so I could fit a pair of tights on underneath with no problem. I just don't know if I would actually need them.If you are a truly curvy gal like me with a little junk in the trunk, this is the best pair of ski pants I've found. Let it snow, let it snow, let it SNOW!
