Get a move on in the Marmot Men’s Cruz Short. The short’s lightweight, abrasion-resistant woven fabric is tough enough to withstand the rigors of backpacking and international travel; it also dries quickly, which is helpful if you’ve just been caught in an afternoon rain shower or need to rinse it out in a hotel sink. Climbing over boulders or up steep temple steps is no problem thanks to the short’s gusseted crotch, which provides a little extra mobility. Plenty of pockets hold your small essentials.
Bottom Line: Cruz through the backcountry or a trip to exotic lands.

Decent shorts

These are fairly comfortable, no-frills shorts. They fit true-to-size (or even slightly on the large side), and dry fairly quickly. They are a little shorter than the picture would suggest (they have a 10" inseam). They don't have any stretch, and (in spite of having a gusseted crotch) don't have fantastic mobility. So I wouldn't use them for climbing, but for hiking or casual use they work just fine.

I bought two pairs of these shorts and immediately sent them back. The fit is quite tight and pretty short in length. They are advertised as climbing shorts but do not stretch at all. One thing I did like was the fact that there was two pockets with zippers. I'm not going to give these shorts a terrible review just because they aren't my style. I'm sure these shorts are perfect for someone, and that someone is not me.

Just a tad longer would be nice, but these are nice shorts! Very comfortable and stlyish. Nice pockets.
