Slightly burlier than the Speed Light but lighter than the Alpinist, the Cerro Torre sports a three-layer Gore-Tex Pro waterproof and breathable membrane, along with fully taped seams and a fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood, to keep snow, rain, and wind from gate crashing your alpine party. Gore's new C-Knit backer kicks durability up a notch without adding weight or bulk, and is specially constructed to be even quieter and more breathable than Gore's previous legendary designs.

Pursuing alpine adventures can get toasty, even when the storm's threatening, which is why Marmot included underarm vents to help you cool down on the crux pitch or skin track. Like all Marmot's tech shells, the Cerro Torre uses Angel-Wing sleeve articulation for easy, free-swinging arm movement and sports an easily adjustable hood that's engineered to interface smoothly with climbing and skiing helmets. Each and every zip is water resistant, while the adjustable hem and cuffs keep water out and the chest and internal pockets store your snacks, maps, and compass.
