Everybody needs a tent, even the very tall.

With plenty of head room for the height inclined camper, the Marmot Argent 4p 4-Person 3-Season Tent will give you and three of your camping partners plenty of wiggle room whether you're camped out on the beach or car camping at your favorite bouldering zone. In addition to its ample head space, the Argent 4p is fitted with a huge front door. Oversized foot vents help prevent condensation from accumulating along the inside walls of the tent.

The rain fly is treated with a PU coating to keep rain out, and the seam taped floor prevents any water from seeping in throughout the night. Interior pockets allow you to secure small pieces of gear, and color coded Easy Pitch clips and poles make set p relatively painless.

    The Flye catches the wind

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

As the front part of the flye is only secured at ONE point the two sides of the front tent (of the flye) can catch the wind when its really windy and start vibrating. This makes an incredibly loud flapping noise. It´s impossible to avoid (we tightened and adjusted everything we could) but the noise kept us up all night as well as our neighboring campers. They wanted us to remove the flye to stop the noise, but as it was raining this was not an option. It seems like this tent has not been tested in really windy conditions. We would like to exchange our tent but Backcountry only has a 30 day return policy for used gear which seems unfair.

    Good One

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First thing that we noticed about this tent is the quality of construction. It is new to us but feels like it's going to last a long time.

Lots of thoughtful features, and a LOT of ventilation. Used in light rain and wind with good results. The ceiling height is great. We slept two adults plus a baby in a Pack & Play, with room to spare. Interior light quality is nice during the day.

Seems like it's meant for car camping but it's only 2 lbs over our tiny old Northface backpacking tent so we'll probably use this same tent for shorter backcountry trips and sleep in luxury. Cheers.

    Great Tent

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Marmot Argent 4 person tent is simply amazing. I own a few tents, but this is my only 4-person. Plenty of room, lightweight, and easy to set up. It's also very durable which I've come to expect from Marmot. Can't go wrong w/ this tent!
