The Marmot Alpinist Tool Gloves provide incredible dexterity for anyone venturing onto steep ice and mixed climbs. Their softshell material helps provide a precise fit while the Pittards leather palms give you excellent grip for hanging onto leashless tools, clipping bolts, and placing screws. The Alpinist Gloves have short gauntlets to keep snow out when you're plunging tools in deep snow, and they dry quickly for the next bit of steepness.
Bottom Line: Scratch, swing, hook, and send with the Marmot Alpinist Tool Glove.

Long skinny fingers?

These did not fit my pudgy short fingered hands. In a mens small, the body of the glove was too small... but I had extra material at the end of the fingers. If you have skinny long fingers, you will like the glove.
A tough glove

This is a good, tough outdoor work glove which is highly water repellent. In particular, I like the carabiner loop to affix the gloves to my belt for quick access.
