A big mountain binding for the pro-level skier.
In the realm of hard-charging freeride bindings, the burly Marker Jester 18 Pro Ski Binding is no joke. Marker engineered it to give you maximum power and retention for those moments when a pre-release would be disastrous, like hyper-speed run-outs or billy-goating over no-fall zones. A beefy DIN range of 8-18 will handle what you throw at it, even if you're big as a linebacker and ski harder than anyone on the mountain. A fixed stainless steel AFD Gliding Plate assures a silky smooth transmission of power and finesse from your boot to ski and is unhindered by buildups of snow, ice, or dirt.
Marker used magnesium parts in the Jester Pro, maintaining all kinds of strength while reducing the unnecessary weight that can bog down your fluid skiing style. The Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter-Pivot heel provide enough elasticity to keep you locked in while bombing double-blacks or hitting hard landings. A horizontally oriented toe-piece spring provides high levels of energy absorption, preventing the risk of early release, even when your landing is a bit sketchy.

So the Jester Pro's they don't lie when they say this is a hard charging burly binding, it is definitely a fun one, that allows you to have a pretty high, and variety of different din settings.
The power transmission is no joke on these boys, no matter the terrain you throw at it, if your charging deep and steep, it is super responsive.
The Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter-Pivot heel provide enough flexibility to keep you locked in while maintaining your fluid skiing style. The binding is manufactured to handle all sorts of terrain and is designed for high levels of energy absorption preventing some double ejectors, and will handle some sketchy situations.
I'd say this binding is a great buy, and looks pretty awesome with the Moment Chipotle Bananas.
I also threw up a youtube vid: Marker Jester vs. Marker Jester Pro Ski Binding Comparison and Review, via youtube. by no means do I mean to take that video as my own, just as some helpful info on the 2 bindings.
