Dreams do come true.

A day of climbing in Southern Utah sounds like a dream come true. In your dreams, however, it wasn't pushing 100 degrees, and sweat wasn't dripping in your eyes as you tried to get past a tricky overhang. Lucky for you, when your dreams confront reality, Mammut built its ultra-breathable Women's Zephira Harness with comfort-boosting tech to the to keep you feeling good during your long, hot, sport or multi-pitch climbs.

  • Split webbing technology is lightweight and takes your weight over a wider area so you won't feel like the straps are digging into your skin
  • Two-part strap passage distributes weight evenly between the hip belt and leg loops for more comfort
  • Ventilation openings keeps fresh air flowing so you don't feel sweaty under your harness
  • Lightweight protector keeps your rope shielded from abrasion in the tie-in loops
  • Aluminum Slide-Bloc buckle keeps weight low and fit adjustments easy

Good Harness, just not for me

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I am new to climbing and this was to be my first harness. It has great veiws and looks awesome... but just not for me. I am 5'9'' and around 140 lbs, and an hourglass figure. So basicllay in life, I do not fit into normal women clothing, but rather fit better into mens. I should have figured this would carry over to harnesses. For me the straps and buckles felts too small, and the leg loops would have cut off circulation in my legs if I took a fall. Once again, I believe this is an awesome harness, but just not for my body type. I am actually ordering the same harness as my husband to replace this one, since it fit so much better.

The belay loop looks so skinny... It says...

The belay loop looks so skinny... It says it's made of dyneema (which is supposed to be strong), but anyone with this harness have any opinions on the belay loop? Durability? Thanks!

The belay loop will be bomber and rated to the appropriate UIAA standards which is 15 kn

Style, Comfort, Convenience!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this harness for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it! One of the things that she loves about the harness is how quick it is to put on and take off. It takes her a couple of seconds and she is ready to climb while I am still cinching down my leg straps. Its super lightweight, ventilated and comfortable. She could sit in the harness all day long and still be comfortable! I picked up the size small, and at 5'3" and 115 lbs it fits her perfectly. Amazing harness, Recommended for sure

XS only has 2 gear loops

Love this harness. It's super light and super comfy for 10 lb of gear and long whippers. I didn't realize that the xs only has 2 gear loops. Had to return that and get the size s for 4 gear loops.

Do the leg loops not tighten?

Do the leg loops not tighten?

No, but they're partially elastic and therefore self adjusting. Very comfortable.

Ok so over 30 years of climbing and bolt clipping and falling now the focus. This is the best harness for this I have ever owned. If it fits you nothing else at the moment is better. Tie in points are reinforced and have wear indicators, it is super light and it moves with you not against you when you high step, heel hook and unoticeable when dogging and lowering off. Gear loops are efficient. If you carry 4 tonnes of trad gear on it, it might drag down on your hips a bit, but who wants to do that anyway and if you do get a beefier heavier thing.

LOVE this harness!!!!!!!

LOVE this harness! It's not bulky, very light weight, and extremely breatheable. It's comfortable if you have to wear it for a long time. The protector for tie-ins is awesome. LOVE!!!!!!

Light, Comfortable, Fits Well

This is my favorite Mammut harness to date. Though it's light, it has cleverly self-adjusting leg loops (because of the elastic band in front) and four gear loops. It's nice and streamlined -and doesn't have any extra straps or buckles cluttering it. My favorite part is its generous venting and high breatheability. No more sweaty butt/ waist! I definitely recommend it. -C Balaz, Team Mammut USA

Is it true to size? I am buying this from overseas thus it is quite a hassle to return if I got the wrong size. Will XS be too big for 24" waist?
